Again, the aerodynamics of a squirrel in flight are irrelevant as the maximum force is applied at moment of acceleration. We know squirrels can glide, at least some can, slightly.

Now which do you think applies more force over a smaller distance... a squirrel being kicked, in effect, by a catapult, or virtually any other acceleration method short of a cannon? Your squirrel got away.. you act as if that is a fully supportable observation... it is not. Have you ever seen a squirrel get run over yet run off, only to die later? If the objective is to kill him, why not just be humane and shoot him?
