Sometimes taking the loss is better then being engulfed in all the stress. It is very freeing after all the b.s. For me I admit to dumping most of my position. What I have left now is just fun money for the bet. Actually bought a few back lower so don't mind holding them. I don't have to worry about how much I could lose as I know exactly where I am at now. If they come I can always jump fully back in and recoup some. But for now I will take the peace o' mind.
It is against the law for my broker to bypass higher bids to sell at a lower price. Putting the lowball limit price in put me ahead of everyone who had to modify their sell orders to chase the bid.
