We are please to announce the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture)
has allowed Sacha Inchi products for consumption from Inca Worldwide (OTC-QEDN) to enter the US.
All seeds need to be inspected by the USDA, the customs and boarder protection, Agriculture Quarantine Inspection (CBP-AQI) or Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ).
The INVIMA certification is the equivalent to theFDA the United States Food & Drug License to Sell & Ship to Stores in the USA but we also needed the USDA approval to ship to the USA.
Now all our products can leave Colombia and enter the USA with all required permits from Colombia and the USA.
Kate has posted a letter from the USDA stating that sacha inchi poses no threat to human consumption and has already been incorporated into products present in the US.
