You start at "We're pulling all our troops out of the Middle East because it was Obama's failed policy" to "We're sending more troops to the Middle East because it was Obama's failed policy".
It's like watching a monkey fuck a football, you know it's wrong but it's just so damned funny that you can't look away.
Then, while watching the monkey go to town, you get that aha moment when you realize the monkey is looking you in the eyes and you are the football of his affection.
It will hit you someday. Until then all I can say is keep your friends close...
