The SEC also alleges that in 2016, the defendants pumped up Green Cures's stock price and trading volume through a promotional campaign, including false and misleading press releases and thousands of emails, text messages, and posts on investor bulletin boards.

Interesting. Though I believe the fake press releases began to be a problem in late 2017 or early 2018. So I think this bunch were cooking up the "misleading" emails on the orders of the Man Behind the Curtain.

Calvin Ross and Jessica Gutierrez are some names from the past.

They also were part of a share selling scam run on Hall of Fame Beverage Inc (HFBG) back during the late 2000s up through 2011

Calvin Ross was also the control person for New Generation Consumer Group, Inc (NGCG) where attorney Andrew Coldicutt assisted Ross and others like convicted felon Jason Ruppert and Mark Fisher with running a share selling scheme using fake debt notes

Fisher was recently Indicted for his role in the VLBI scam and banned by the SEC

More recently, Ruppert has been using Xalles Holdings Inc (XALL) for his own person shares selling scheme

Andrew Coldicutt was also the attorney for Green Cures & Botanical Distribution Inc (GRCU) and it took a lot of arm twisting by the SEC starting in early 2017 to get Coldicutt to give up the documents the SEC wanted

Apparently the SEC finally got their hands on those documents judging by today's SEC action against Ross, Guiterrez, and others.

This part from the SEC Complaint that mentions the stock promoters involved and the use of the IHUB message boards is interesting
