Protocol. Why go to court before asking the AG? Seems to me that is the proper step before taking the more drastic one of voting on contempt.
So, does that mean they will no go to the court themselves without Barr? If they feel that info is that important, they would. Let's see if they do or prove that the contempt thing is just political theater.
And does that also mean they held Barr in contempt for simply not helping them? If so, they have just embarrassed themselves again.
