Something that could really put them in their place and PROVE, once and for all, that they are fraudulent "fake news". No one would believe their liberal lies ever again.
I'm thinking, like... I don't know... some official document showing how much money he made, and maybe even--I know this sounds crazy--how much tax he paid. Maybe a document that is produced on a yearly basis, so that he can prove the NYT wrong over multiple years. Wouldn't that show those bastards!
If only such a document existed, it could really save Trump's ass right now, squelching the worldwide impression that he's really just a broke, worthless bum. But I don't think such a document does exist, and that's too bad.

Former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade talks with Rachel Maddow about conflicting evidence as to whether or not the president asked DNI Coats to tell the FBI to stop the Russia investigation. Coats’s testimony appears to be at odds with that of some of his top staffers.
Mueller Report Volume !! March 22, 2017, after a Presidential Daily Briefing Trump asked Daniel Coats DNI and Pompeo CIA to stay behind. Coats said Trump "asked them whether they could say publicly that no link existed between him and Russia." Coats said his office and he had nothing to do with investigations.
Then
"According to senior ODNI official Michael Dempsey, Coats said after the meeting the President had brought up the Russia investigation and asked him to contact Comey to see if there was a way to get past the investigation, get it over with, end it, or words to that effect."
Coats told Edward Gistaro OGNI staffer directly after the meeting. Gistaro told another guy and that Coats was upset that Trump had brought it up with him.
Later Coats told Mueller investigators that Trump never asked him to speak to Comey about the FBI investigation. Did he forget what staffers said he said to them? Or did Coats not tell the full truth to Mueller's investigators.
Obstruction of Justice in the Mueller Report: A Heat Map
[...]
C. Conduct regarding public confirmation of the Russia investigation
Obstructive act (p. 60): Though “evidence shows” that Trump reached out to intelligence community leadership, that outreach was “not interpreted … as directives to improperly interfere with the investigation.” Mueller notes that Trump’s outreach to NSA Director Mike Rogers was “significant enough that Rogers thought it important to document the encounter in a written memorandum.”
Nexus (p. 60): The outreach took place following FBI Director James Comey’s announcement of the FBI’s counterintelligence and criminal investigation of Russian election interference.
Intent (p. 60): “The evidence does not establish that the President asked or directed intelligence agency leaders to stop or interfere with the FBI’s Russia investigation[.]” However, “the President’s intent in trying to prevent Sessions’s recusal, and in reaching out the Coats, Pompeo, Rogers, and Comey following Comey’s public announcement of the FBI’s Russia investigation, is nevertheless relevant to understanding what motivated the President’s other actions towards the investigation.” In other words, while Trump’s actions here do not indicate intent as to the specific potentially obstructive conduct at issue in this section, they are relevant to understanding his intent as to his broader pattern of conduct toward the investigation. https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=148425785 -

After Mueller Report, Trump Pushed McGahn To Say He Didn't Obstruct Justice | The 11th Hour | MSNBC
MSNBC Published on May 10, 2019
As Trump's administration is hit with more subpoenas, new reports say Trump push Don McGahn to clear his name after the Mueller report was released. Jonathan Allen, Donny Deutsch, Barbara McQuade, and Paul Butler react.
White House Asked McGahn to Declare Trump Never Obstructed Justice [...] The president’s lawyers are particularly concerned about two episodes that Mr. McGahn detailed to prosecutors. In one, Mr. Trump asked him to fire the special counsel but backed off after Mr. McGahn refused. After that episode was revealed, the president asked Mr. McGahn to create a White House document falsely rebutting his account. Mr. McGahn declined to go along but told Mr. Mueller about the encounters. https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=148768849

Mueller’s report makes a mockery of Trump’s claim to ‘total exoneration’

To name just a few: Trump attempted to have then-Atty. Gen. Jeff Sessions reverse his own decision — required by ethics rules — to recuse himself from the investigation. Trump fired FBI director James B. Comey — at least partly because of the “pressure” from the Russia investigation — and then lied about why he did so. He directed White House counsel Don McGahn to order Deputy Atty. Gen. Rod Rosenstein to fire Mueller soon after the special counsel’s appointment. McGahn refused to carry out the order and prepared to resign, and Trump later backed down. When the New York Times reported on Trump’s demand, the president asked McGahn to deny it.
The report makes it clear that most of Trump’s attempts at interference failed, “but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the president declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests.” Despite that damning judgment, the special counsel did not to take a position on whether Trump obstructed justice. Acting on their own, Atty. Gen. William Barr and Rosenstein then concluded that the evidence “is not sufficient to establish that the president committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.”
In other words, Trump just barely skated by, despite ample evidence of misbehavior, thanks to a favorable and generous reading of the facts and laws by his own attorney general. For the president to call that an “exoneration” is laughable. .. https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=148338765
