Anderson, Vice President--Legal Compliance and General Counsel for WAMU anounced her retirement in late 2006-2007 and WAMU's Outside Counsel Stuart Landefeld, partner,from Perkin's Coie took a leave of absence and was in charge of the massive flight of assets from Washington St. to Delaware where they were reincorporated. He along with David Williams, Doreen Logan, Peter Freilinger and others were instrumental in this flight of assets to Delaware beginning in 2006 and have intimate knowledge of what was transferred. Stuart Landefeld returned to his practice at Perkins Coie and has been involved with the Bankruptcy as show in the MOR's. Not involved with this massive transfer was Chad Smith a young newly hired attorney from JPM that was hired in 2007 and was under the supervision of Faith Anderson until her retirement. In 2012 he took over as General Counsel.
