Presently, bio is expensive to make as it is not widely available and is relatively new. As blending becomes more easy and ingredients become more readily available, the cost will come down.
2007 diesel engins are designed to run on very low sulphur fuel. Unfortunately, this fuel will not lubricate as well. Thus, Bio has a place in the diesel industry.
