That tech is all about detection and she admits it is still a few years away from being a diagnostic tool. Someone would still need to then have a cure. I've also read that Breast cancer (one of the next ones to go after if this study is successful) is not genetic. Point well taken though, that the rest of the world is still moving forward while this forever study keeps going on.
