Gimmicks aren't saving CLM. As of Friday 5/25/19 its premium declined to 4.23% from an annual peak of 19.4%. CLM might well plunge to a deep discount in an extended bear market. Nowadays this fund is full of hot money that's quick to exit in bad times. https://www.cefconnect.com/fund/CLM

Has Cornerstone ever done a Rights Offering when the premium is so small?
I'm guessing that few CLM/CRF shareholders will want to add right now.
