It's not a matter of mets or ldh being a predictive factor for survival in PC.
Let's ask the question this way:
When investors were waiting for 9901 survival results, were you honestly waiting for the Cox analysis rather than the log-rank?
I dare to think not. As a further case in point, when we surveyed readers on this board for their guess / opinion on the outcome of 9902a back in early 2005, I don't think anyone responded with a p value predicated on a Cox analysis.
The people posting on this board follow their stocks closely. If they didn't know about an endpoint, then it certainly wasn't the headliner.
