I’m not disagreeing that short sales can be manipulative. But in a thinly traded stock isn’t some naked shorting to be expected? I’m not saying that there isn’t abusive short selling going on, I’m just saying that the fact that naked shorting is being reported doesn’t establish manipulation.
Whereas the little uneconomical outlier trades are harder to understand and on their face at least look like price manipulation.
