Both the Energy Commander V and a hydro turbine of the same power size take pressurized flow and produce mechanical rotation. They're very interchangeable. I believe it's very valid to compare a hydro turbine to the EC V.
I understand your point that different technologies can have aspects which can make them better suited for certain applications. There are often trade-offs too. Would you agree that if one technology was better than another technology in every single aspect, that one technology is clearly superior to the other?
Alright, maybe a better way to phrase my question would be, "Of the thousands of applications which you mentioned where the EC V will work great, can you say what specific attribute of the EC V makes it better suited for that application than a hydro turbine of the same power output?"
