I dont think sentiment has much to do with someone hitting the ask with a 300K share buy and the ask not budging even though the ask only showed 10K shares. That has happened several times recently...this is indicative of a MM (VNDM) having a large inventory to sell and just letting retail buy all they want. Then they move the ask lower and start the process over again.
Ha...while I was typing this...the same thing happened again. VNDM moves the ask down even tho it was getting hit at higher price!
