Its a bastardisation of the term.

If its not a dilutive financing and no equity is lost the financing is a royalty payment, a JV agreement, a loan or a payment for first right of refusal.

Let's call a spade a spade can't we?

Definition seems to be clear.

- funds raise from markets as loan, debt, even preferred shares will be non dilutive
- Royalty without giving up stake non dilutive

- JV will be dilutive as co will give up some ownership by issuing new shares to jv partners
