Theres always going to be religious zealots. For the most part lgbt enjoy a life free of harrassment in the western cultures compared to Muslim countries that routinely incarcerate, beat, torture and murder gays in the name of their religion.
These days, straight white older males get more harrassment and condemnation than gays.
