Yes they are interesting debates, and I do agree that there is a lot of confusion. I'm no expert at all and clearly my post is being twisted out of context (big surprise).
There is a clear correlation between when the stock was shorted (as per finra short interest) and when it was covered. You'd expect to see this covering when it dips though, so I'm not surprised. But the posts to say shorting under $1 is unlikely are wrong...I'm just showing the data, nothing more!!
