Well said, but a naked short is also the selling of shares that one does not yet have. The MMs can play "hot potato" with their naked short positions to try and keep from having failure to deliver but eventually they will need to make good on all those shorts they have sold that they don't yet have when the uplist to NASDAQ occurs.
