Not really, when I saw it appear, I knew what it was and my relative had just seen a movie that mentioned it in passing. To get a doc to go through the fuss, when you need it this afternoon, not going to happen. If you were dying, a compassionate use would be worth going through the fuss for, but for mild OM just not realistic. Although I was a bit let down, but not surprised that no one had any idea about IPIX.
It's highly doubtful that IPIX would have extra drug to even consider giving out for compassionate use. They are so tight with the finances they are going to be fortunate to manufacture enough for upcoming trials. Not a bit extra in my thinking.
They aren't a JNJ with a fully functioning compassionate use section.
