Oh, I pay no attention to Gasparino and garbage of his ilk. I have thought for years, after learning the facts, that somebody always gets screwed in such situations as we shareholders find ourselves. As victims (and in that there is no doubt), we should, at the very least, be made whole. Whole would be where the GSEs were at before the meddling and manipulation began. Truthfully, shareholders should be made whole plus some sort of penalty for usurping basic shareholder rights and crippling the share price through near nationalization. The only thing the government didn't do to complete a nationalization was to make shareholders surrender their shares. A penalty could be calculating and paying a reasonable dividend for the productive years (2013 to present) and full release of the GSEs to the rightful owners. However, none of this will happen, in my opinion, and our "whole" will be something short of 100% and, possibly, something far short of 100%. The individuals who will get screwed aren't the ones holding giant blocks of stock, it will be the ones reading this message. I will stick by the "bending over the table" comment because, from my view, the ones who many see as working on our behalf are just mirages.
