You took a lot of gas for posting this and I really don't see why. While I doubt the "big reveal" is on the agenda in Otting's allotted 30 minutes, I would anticipate his comments may include some color on FHFA capital standards for the GSEs since the IIB audience will be big-bank focused on Basel III issues, in all likelihood, which is the parallel universe to F&F cap issues. I would not expect the majority of his presentation to be on FHFA but on his Comptroller of the Currency role in GOV, however.
Thanks for posting the conference detail. I think some press feedback from this event could be quite consequential for Fannie Mae followers who are starved for real news on the administration's plans. If Victoria Guida gets a few drinks into him during Happy Hour we maybe could learn a lot more about what's been going on behind the scenes. "Loose lips sink ships?"
