They're better known to us that grew up in the sixties and seventies as Bennies or a Benny. Bennies are a nickname for drugs that fall into a class of drugs called benzodiazepines. You've heard of Valium? They are in this group. Benzodiazepines help reduce/eliminate anxiety. They relax you, help you sleep, etc. They were always referred to as Bennies when I was growing up. This was just a joke to those who understood. No, I'm not taking Benadryl...or Bennies. But may need some type of sedation early next week in anticipation of the SLJB financials being or not being released. GLTY
