Howard Fineman @howardfineman · 1h I’ll add that, at the end of the hearing, as the last Democrats got their turns, @AOC’s questioning was focused, detailed and useful to the investigative process — far better than the speechifying and name calling of some others. "So you would say the person who knows the whereabouts of these documents would be David Pecker?" asked Ocasio-Cortez.
"David Pecker, [former Enquirer editor] Barry Levine, or [AMI Vice President] Dylan Howard," replied Cohen.
Another line of questioning related to Trump's alleged tendency to inflate the value of his properties to insurance companies, using the example of Trump Links, a golf course in the Bronx that the Washington Post reported was built with $127 million in taxpayer funding.
"To your knowledge, did the president ever provide inflated assets to an insurance company?" asked Ocasio-Cortez, a question tantamount to asking whether Trump had committed insurance fraud.
"Yes," said Cohen.

"Who else knows that the president did this?" asked Ocasio-Cortez.
"Allen Weisselberg, Ron Liberman, and Matthew Calamari," answered Cohen, referring to the chief financial officer, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Trump Organization, respectively.
"And where would the committee find more information on this, do you think we need to review his financial statements and tax returns in order to compare them?"
"Yes, and you'd find it at the Trump Org," replied Cohen.
Ocasio-Cortez's final questions related to allegations that Trump committed tax fraud. Cohen explained how Trump allegedly manipulated his tax bill.
"What you do is deflate the value of the asset, and then you put in a request to the tax department for a deduction," he said.
"Would it help for the committee to obtain federal and state tax returns from the president and his company to address that discrepancy?" she later asked.
