Because we tend to have a wide spread from bid to ask the stock is currently trading below Tuesday’s closing price. In reality the bids displayed have increased over yesterday by approx 3-9 cents and by 10 to 15 cents versus the top bid displayed last Friday.
Loading doesn’t have to be ask slaps but someone is definitely putting up large buy orders and waiting for their fill. This may be a case of volume before price. New blood getting in with a major increase of volume indicates the bottom is likely in. We could still easily climb higher with more volume before the close today.
