Drugs that work have a lot of value (they have positive phase 2 results in BP and phase 2 results coming in next couple months for Ulcerative Colitis ) before the FDA approves them- that's why companies do partnerships all the time to get them approved together. They already have an offer for a partnership, they just needed the time to close the deal, but Discover filed the default before that happened.
