Not yet. I don’t think the Federal Reserve permits shorting within 30 days of an IPO except by market makers. As mentioned in a prior post, the best time for shorting THRM may be just prior to the lockup expiration if the share price has not already collapsed. By then, shares for borrowing ought to be available.
