Here is a hint...if a US company is in Chapter 15 proceedings of the US BANKRUPTCY CODE ...they are bankrupt. Lol.

Just because the bankruptcy ALSO involves the foreign assets and entities of the US company doesn’t change that.

If it was ONLY the Canadian subsidiary that was bankrupt and the US parent was not bankrupt there would be NO US PROCEEDING under Chapter 15.

Consider that for a moment.
