I think the point trying to be made is that you do research and determine if a company has the fundamentals necessary to continue your diligence, now does the company have promise in a burgeoning market? Are their sales increase, marketing, etc. I made the example about CG@C yesterday...early investors could have gotten shares for a dollar! So over 5 years those investors have been treated to a 50X return...meanwhile they weren't chasing momentum from the short term volatility. They didn't have to worry about selling at a loss just to buy back in earlier and then incur selling fees as well as purchasing fees...Do your research upfront...sit back and enjoy seeing your account grow exponentially....during these times of uncertainty take the time to add to your core position and average down....you sold at .08 cents just a few days before the stock doubled...the stock settled again and then doubled to .21...your shares sold at .08 would have been worth over 3X....
