A federal judge overseeing the Paul Manafort case says prosecutors for Special Counsel Robert Mueller have proved 3 of the 5 examples they cite as occurrences when Manafort lied to them in the course of his cooperation.
CNN's chief legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin reacts to a federal judge ruling that President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, lied to special counsel Robert Mueller.
A federal judge found Manafort "intentionally" lied to special counsel Robert Mueller's office, breaking the plea agreement that made him the star cooperator in the Russia probe.
Manafort "made multiple false statements to the FBI, the OSC and the grand jury concerning matters that were material to the investigation," including his contacts with his Russian associate during the campaign and later, Judge Amy Berman Jackson wrote on Wednesday.
Jackson's ruling is another stunning turn in Mueller's efforts to uncover Russian interference in the 2016 election, as the first man the special counsel indicted then pursued as a potential cooperator for a year sees the end of any benefits he tried to gain through a guilty plea.
Anderson Cooper takes on Trump's presidential privilege

CNN's Anderson Cooper discusses the deal congressional lawmakers have agreed to that provides money for some fencing along the border, but falls far short of President Trump's proposed border wall.
"I'll be the one" then, to "I accepted the first one...I'm proud of it" now. Possibly a $11 billion cost to economy, $3 billion permanent." One could say Trump owes the American people $3 billion, or thereabout. Plus all the rest he has stolen.
Trump is also still lying when he repeats the lie that his administration has built some wall already. Repair under Trump becomes build.
Also, one guest says Trump's reprogramming dollars could be a very nasty fight, as Democrats have to sign off on it.
