I wonder if these people took into account the more money they pocketed last year.

AZ, I just had my taxes done today and my return doubled over last year. I didn't do deductions last year or this year and just used what they allowed. Last year I was allowed 15,000 in deductions and this year Trump got it raised to 26000. Easy to see why the refund increased even though my income increased by 900 dollars last year. My sons also doubled.
