BNN interview, Sprott, etc The BNN interview was a good listen and how can you not be excited! I'm posting link here for anyone who missed it. https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/video/kirkland-lake-nears-record-highs-as-investors-await-fosterville-updates~1604939 Some talk here lately about potential suitors or buyout. Before you even go there, take a hard look at the charts....any chart, 5 year, 3 year, one year, one month and they all tell the same story about a company that is taking off like a rocket. If we had a buyout, where would that leave us and where else would you park your money? A buyout would be a huge mistake IMHO and larger company would show much less trajectory. We have to thank Eric Sprott for his vision on this one. We're just getting started on Fosterville wealth and Macassa likewise has huge upside potential. Patience. Listen to Eric Sprott's Jekyl Island talk again to get some guidance. He talks about grades at Fosterville being "generational" and so what does that mean to you?....not so quick to sell, that's for sure. By the way, Sprott's 20M or so KL shares have earned him well in excess of $500 million so far....that's profit!!! Like him, biggest problem many of long KL shareholders have is that darned capital gains tax on these winnings. RE:RE:KL will continue to rise with heavy flows into Gold ETF
If Tony said KL will do 1.5 million ozs down the road, it will probably happen faster then he says, with KL always doing better than they say. With Macassa doing eventually 400,000 to 450,000 ozs, and about 100 plus ozs at Holt and Taylor, unless Cosmo hits it big, it looks like Tony is projecting Fosterville to be a million oz mine per year. Of course I would like to see Cosmo make a big find in the NT. Imagine if we develop a 3rd top tier mine internally. by Bob sth bb
Fosterville did 40g/t in Q4'18. I expect this to rise in 2019, but let's stick with 40g/t.
Mill throughput is expected to be 1300 tpd in 2019. Gold produced is 1300 X 40/32 = 1625 oz/day
Profit is oz X (POG -AISC) $1300 - 450 = $850. 1625 oz X $850 = $1,381,250 per day.
Yearly profit 365 days X $1,381,250 = $504,156,250 or lets say 500 million or 1/2 billion.
What PE will we give this. I think 20 is conservative. Fosterville ALONE is worth 10 BILLION.
If grades are 50g/t, value is $12.5 billion and if grades are 60g/t, value is 15 billion for only Fosterville.
Current market cap is $7 billion. Buy Fosterville at 30% discount and get the Canadian operations for free. plus we will throw in cash in the bank and shares in other companies.... LOL. by swillie sth

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:
Craig Hemke of the TF Metals Report, writing for Sprott Money tonight, applies technical analysis to the gold and silver charts and predicts that while the bullion banks will be selling heavily at key points, the monetary metals are firmly on an ascending path again and will be supported by computer programs calculating that the winning formula now is to buy the dips.
Hemke's analysis is headlined "The Next Goals for Gold and Silver Prices" and it's posted at Sprott Money here:

Canada’s Kirkland Lake Gold (TSX, NYSE: KL) is taking advantage of the deal making boom in the global bullion sector by launching an online tool to help attract, assess and refine investment opportunities.
The new corporate development initiative, named KL Gold Deal Room, was created with the collaboration of technology firm VRIFY.
The miner has outlined a set of criteria to evaluate assets that may have the potential to complement its growth strategy.
Kirkland Lake said it would consider possible strategic investments, joint ventures and merger and acquisitions (M&A) opportunities.
“Using the KL Gold Deal Room, companies with assets that require capital, and meet these criteria, are invited to make online submissions to the KL Gold Deal Room using one standardized format that can be accessed anywhere, anytime,” it said in a statement.

“We believe informed decisions are better decisions, and by utilizing VRIFY Deal Room, Kirkland Lake Gold will be one of the most informed companies in the world,” Stephen de Jong, the founder, president and CEO of VRIFY said.
“We are looking to grow shareholder value by investing in new, high- quality gold projects that, with the benefit of our capital and expertise, have the potential to become world-class mining operations,” noted Tony Makuch, president and CEO of Kirkland Lake Gold.
Kirkland said it would be interested in all sorts of gold projects, including those with by-products in a variety of jurisdictions, such as Canada, Australia, Europe, New Zealand and Latin America.
The news come at a time gold prices have climbed past $1,400 an ounce for the first time since 2013 following the US Federal Reserve comments on getting ready to decrease interest rates.
It also coincides with fresh geopolitical tensions triggered by an escalating military strike between the US and Iran, which has helped nudge investors into gold, with the precious metal poised to mark its highest finish in more than six years on Tuesday.
Analysts, including Citigroup Inc., see gold hitting $1,500 to $1,600 in the next 12 months under a bullish-case scenario.
