HANS has all the classic looks of a stock that could really pop off that lower D-bot test it put in the am today ...and it did <g

they'll have to show some growth and maintaining market share against all that new competition though....and there's a ton of it out there . So it may get the pop and then it will be up to the guidance ....or it pops and tanks .

Can't believe Goldman was pumping this so hard all along from last eps from august , looking for at least $34c :

Hansen-HANS misses Q2 Street est on higher expenses & slow sales growth@GSCO
The firm said Q2 EPS of 28c was slightly above its 27c estimate. The broker has lowered Q3 EPS to 34c from 38c and Q4 to 28c from 32c due to the slowdown in distribution expansion and slowing organic growth. The firm also lowered 2007-2010 FY estimates. Target to $55 from $62.50.

High-energy results for Hansen could go flat-WSJ
"Ahead of the Tape" says Hansen Natural's (HANS) Monster energy line was a monster hit last year - revenue grew 93%, and share price tripled. But two analysts have sounded warning notes after scrutinizing Q2 results. Citigroup (C) analyst Gregory Badishkanian cut his rating to "hold" from "buy," saying the stock has gotten expensive. At Goldman Sachs (GS), Andrew Sawyer advised clients to buy, but cautioned that Hansen's new energy-drink distribution agreement with Anheuser-Busch (BUD), which phases out in the next year, could cause short-term problems.

05:54 EDT HANS Hansen Natural-HANS reports Q2 EPS 28c vs. consensus est of 29c
HANS reports Q2 net rev $156M vs. consensus est of $152.5M.

HANS was worth a dip in $27's at least for scalp, seems they made revs anyways ....looks like they might survive today

HANS Hansen Natural delays earnings release on option investigation, reports revs slightly above consensus (29.02 ) *****
