hiroller, there are many factors concerning forward stock splits. I would never buy Berkshire Hathaway because it has never split. I cant afford to pay 303,581,00 per share it's closing price Friday.

Successful companies split their stock to satisfy liquidity issues like Canopy will need to do at some point.

Most people can afford to pay 20.00 for a share of stock instead of 200.00
Their is a psychological factor built into peoples mind set concerning how much they want to pay for one share.

If you were to take a poll of 100 CGC stockholders concerning a 3 for 1 split, I would say 95 or more would favor the split.
