#7963 RE: Pennyes #7961

From one of my fellow bullboard members on Stockhouse:

RE:Received Directly from Aphria

My response:

Thank you for your response. I have posted on both Stockhouse and Reddit.

Mr. Neufeld alluded to the toll this has taken on his health and his family.

Many shareholders who invested heavily in Aphria did so with the firm belief its CEO possessed solid ethics and was a person of integrity. Many of us have suffered because of this belief.

I went through something eerily similar with Nortel. It was devastating to learn John Roth (CEO of the Year in 2000) was discovered to be lacking in morals and had not acted in the company’s best interests; rather his own. I hope this is not the case here.

The root of this travesty is based on loss of trust. I sincerely hope Aphria management is able to produce a convincing thesis that will restore this priceless asset.

Sincerely,

Thanks for your comments and recommendations. I appreciate the unvarnished candor of your remarks.

With respect to the timing of the Company's rebuttal to the short seller's allegations, as you know, the Board appointed a Special Committee to review the LATAM transaction, the value of which was at the centre of the short seller’s thesis. The Board and the Committee understand the urgency of responding to these allegations in a timely and complete manner, but there was no deadline given to the Committee to complete their work. As I’m sure you can appreciate, the standard of care that we must take as a public company in responding to these allegations is much higher than the threshold that an unrelated party would be expected to satisfy. This means we can’t sacrifice thoroughness for expediency.

With respect to changes to the Company's senior management team, these changes will be announced once the Board has appointed new officers.

Regarding prospective alliances, the Company will announce all material transaction, partnerships or alliances that it enters into with third party organizations but will not comment on speculation concerning such alliances.

I hope my comments give you some insight into how management has been addressing these issues.
