When you elect a clown expect a circus to follow. Trump was never pro MJ, he just uses words to make you think he does. I don’t foresee MJ being downgraded on the Federal level anytime soon.
Democrats will make a move in congress again but it will achieve much more publicity. Republicans can see the steam roller coming and will not dare to stand in the way before 2020. Several wild cards including a few dinosaur republicans that could be obstructionist. Aphria probably has all its plans in place for US re-scheduling. No reason for stocks to fall
