If Trump's popularity hit the teens, or a big jump in that direction, i reckon only then would the GOP
decide he was a liability, and that ain't gonna happen without him shooting someone in Maccas.
One thing for certain is that the Democrats cannot submit to his shutdown blackmail re his shutdown, or he would just do it again.
No doubt Trump is practiced at blackmail.
