Heh, shermann, thing is Trump claimed the shutdown before it occurred with his no new (extra/more) wall funding no signature. The others had a bill way back on Dec 20. Then later the adults in the room, recognizing politics for what it is, made a deal. Trump rejected it. McConnell now takes the position that he won't send a bill that Trump will not sign. Trump, and the extreme conservatives who earlier pressured him out of a compromise, are the fleas in the lotion. Trump is the key flea.
