If you understand finance, or if you just keep in mind Polymedix/Brilacidin and Prurisol, you understand why the equity in a biotech can go to zero and why a promising drug can fail. Don't resent good investors who know the risks and communicate them. Strive to be a good investor. It's not the easy road but it's the right one. It enables you to make a good long term return in the market and prevent catastrophic wealth loss.

The company has struggled the past year and a half as some risks have born out. The market priced them in, and continues to price in others. Our hope as investors is that the current risks do not prevail. The hope of penny stock speculators is that the conspiracy of shorts and evil hedge funds, along with some conniving BP with the aid of the SEC, will not steal your winning lottery ticket. That's foolishness.

So watch for word on the B term sheet or a deal. We'll know one way or another by Feb 10. If we announce a share sale, then it highly likely means management is no longer counting on it.

In the same post you said:

“Are there any clueless dolts still alive that don't understand the inherent risks in a startup biotech play?”

Then said this:

“At today's stock price there is no risk”

Sorry — we need to strive to be educated investors. Never be the fool.

Can't agree with you more Pete! Hopefully Leo will make this happen in the near future.

Go Leo & IPIX.

Some on this board claim to be major stockholders and yet do everything in their power to discourage new investors from putting any money into IPIX - Anyone else see anything fishy about that?

Are there any clueless dolts still alive that don't understand the inherent risks in a startup biotech play? Who are all these posts aimed at to save us from ourselves - guess they think we are all really that stupid after all.

At today's stock price there is no risk as the fire sale value of Brilacidin alone (as they seem to think is going to happen) would far exceed $.11/share value + debt.

That is the attraction of biotech - possible massive gains and with IPIX at its current price the risk is next to nil. IMO

How much of an investment is it worth to you? Answer is different for each investor just as bets in Vegas are different for each investor (but the odds on IPIX are FAR and AWAY better than Vegas). IMO
