They will somehow skew it to make it come out positive. Incredible corruption going on with greenspan who thinks he can build the economy back up on bubble, lol. These days everybody has a job forecasting how much more the markets will move daily and trading it with money borrowed on their mortgage, lol. I read somewhere that margin debt is now over 5 times it was a few weeks back. This is working exactly like greenspan wants, wall st is the elixir drucg, cure-all for the all economic ills. Pathetic old man, IMO. Irrational exuberance at DOW 5k and now orchestrating the most blatant irrational exhuberance that could wipe out millions of people. I wonder how he can live with his concsience, but then again people like him got none, but stupid arrogance, imo.

punkle...

No, there were no bright spots in the BtB report, especially the sharply downward revision of last month's numbers - it is almost like the government reports where the initial number is not so bad, but the next month they give you the real number when it is already "old news" and won't panic anybody.

I have been saying for many moons now that the chip and equipment sectors (especially equipment) will be seeing no sustainable recovery (nor will the economy) and will be getting worse, not better as we go into next year when I expect a global recession to take hold. I hope I am proven wrong, but I see nothing in the real world that makes me want to change my mind, certainly not the bogus government numbers that everyone is ballyhooing about nor in corporate earnings reports.
