I hope so because I have shares under both tickers. It can take a few days up to a few weeks. I owned shares another ticker that took 4 weeks. It all depends on the company, if they are changing their domicile(which can take longer) and how quickly they get all the info in to have the transfer agent transfer the shares.

Yes usually happens in a day or two. Not too long from my experience.
