First the question was

Could you name a comparable un-explored 'claim' that sold for that much.

With that much refering to the 100-800 million number you claimed.

Second you say they extracted 500 million in gold and the claim was worth $658 million. The claim was not worth that. Stick to the facts. If someone bought the claim before the mining was started, they would not have paid more than $20 million since that would be the net present value of 500 million of gold in the ground.

The discussion is about what the claim is worth, not other random numbers you quote.

I don't have time to go look up your claim of 500 million its both wrong and misleading. Could you quote from financials the NPV, before the mine started, of the net profit over time and you can include disposal to add a few bucks.
