It was pretty much known that LBI and LBIE would make a strong recovery. LBHI tried to get LBIE included in the LBHI filing but the UK courts ruled against it. LBI was an SIPC issue. Much better capitalized than LBHI.
As to FnF, go back to the FNMAS board to about 2013 and read my posts. I never bashed FnF and still own some common today. What many disagreed with me with and got me booted off the google FnF board is that I disagreed with the leaders there that FnF would be a slam dunk quick winner. Like here, some want to make personal attacks instead of using rtaional thinking and making money.I also said that the shareholders would probably have to file a lawsuit if they ever expected the government to give back the honey pot. I was correct about that. Took some profits at good times and made money.
