Ed - I don't think that it would be cost effective to ship lumber from Canada to the ME, so that's never made sense to me. I was under the impression that the softwoods lumber will be brokered through Liberia (and perhaps not yet announced origins) to the ME projects.

I really think shipping it halfway around the world, given the volume, would be cost prohibitive. Perhaps I'm wrong.

Can someone else shed light on this subject?
