As a parent what happened to that child deeply upset me when it was first reported. Of course I could be accused of being a liberal crybaby for mentioning it a couple of years later.
But the f'ing fact is I actually have a compassionate organ in my body and that story when it was reported stuck in my brain.
So for the idiots out there who think it's all about whining about collateral damage I've got two words for them. FU!
As an aside and on a more personal note my wife and I must be doing something right. The other day our 7 year old son asked me if he could wish for things for Christmas that weren't toys. I asked him what he wanted to wish for and he said he wanted people to stop killing each other.
Maybe we should start electing kids to run the world. The f'ing adults are clueless.
