That's funny, +$50M in liens. If the company owned the land the lien would be against the company / BioAmber. Seeing as BIOAQ is in CCAA under court control and it's not noted on the creditors list, the land registry office will have a small problem getting their money. Once the court clears the process it's final.
Like I said the land registry means nothing until the new owners choose to update it . And they dont even have to . Im sure it is not at the top of their list of things to do . All the liens on the property have been expunged as the court filings clearly state . It also clearly states the secured debt was only partially paid . It also clearly states the new owner took title free and clear of any encumbrances. So yes the new owners were perfectly fine getting it all for pennies on the dollar.
