No, we've seen the pictures, we've been shown supposed FPGAs before, yes, in person, which have all proven to be props. What they have lately I have not seen, but so what that 427 says he has... for all he knows, seriously, is they're just as bogus. Did he see them work? Uhm, rhetorical question.
RIM has proven more than one, without question, that they're willing to parade bogus props in front of investors and shareholders. Why would they all of a suddent get religion and change their ways?
Bottom line - until they produce an ASSP, take an order and ship it - we can only rely on past peformance, and they clearly have failed hands down to do what they, not me, not you, no one but themselves, claimed.
I hope a few people are making some money on these tigher and tighter price cycles. I'm looking for evidence online of another paid pump. Is it underway now?
Price and volume increase have correlated very well to evidence of paid pumps for the better part of a DECADE. And after the volume/price action the price moves lower again.
But be my guest and think to yourself... maybe it's different this time.. there has to be something behind "this move"... "someone knows something"... a leak is afoot... hence the price.
History shows you that line of thinking is simply wishful.
