jjz- Excellent. I was re-presenting Cobra with spoke's opinion and asking him to provide his own credible source for his opinion. I'm trying to look at both sides objectively. Cobra doesn't seem to be able to provide credible evidence to refute what spoke is saying. I wish he could because I'd LOVE to believe Cobra.

If you get some time, I'm interested to hear what your sources are telling you. Thank you.

A member of The Just You Wait and See Club posting here with less than two months left in 2006 for Da Boyz to get some orders for their Cupria.

Nice to read that you are still lurking on this message board. Stay with the Chicago Bears, they have a product to put on the field; although after the near-disaster in the desert when the offense failed to score a touchdown, it was looking a little dicey.

Here I was expecting a USC - UCLA showdown again, but the bruins look like pussycats after the Notre Dame 4th quarter and most of last week's loss to Wazoo. WAZOO? Wow. As far as the Prophyllactics, well Pete Carroll is only a college football coach, not a magician. USC with a Billy Joe Bob quarterback just didn't get it done as the Beavers chewed them up in a BIG upset. Do I like CAL against USC?

As far as RaySpoiltMyInvestment goes, your Silicon Valley sources might be pulling your chain. But it is always a good chuckle to read your cheerleading remarks as well as those of The Sage of Salem and the Ontario Opportunist interlardered among the puff PRs from Da Boyz.

Looks like the New England vs. Indianapolis game will be the spotlight NFL contest this weekend. Have a pleasant weekend among the new vintages surplus merlot harvest in Northern California; we are buying generic PREMIUM merlots here @3 for $10 on special during frequent wine wars. My wife loves it!

JJZ, it would be nice if you could share some of the specfics.

Also, how would you feel if there was no design wins or orders by the end of 2006? I also feel pretty good that there will be orders, however I have the usual fear that the following will happen:

"orders are almost here, just need one more month". So investors say, ok we have waited for one more month, whats another year. When the one month expires, they will say just till end of first quarter, etc etc etc.

I feel good about my investment based on my current buy price, but I an certainly NOT going to wait forever...

jjz - and I'll match you expert for expert in the semi business. Although they have not commented on Spoke's posts, since I haven't shared his comments with them, I do share RIM's PRs and to a man they all believe RIM is a bogus company, making outlandish claims. And I've already posted when the concensus was on Telcordia.

My hunch is both of us are not going to post who specifically we've consulted with, to protect our network, but the proof is in the pudding - RIM has still been unable after 3-4 yrs of Brad saying they will have a finished ASIC or ASSP on the market to do so.

Anyone with any appreciable experience in the semiconductor industry would find it laughable to even be arguing whether Rim is legit or not.

The firm doesn't even have the facade of a viable semiconductor concern. I have over 20 years in the industry with the largest semiconductor firm in the nation.
