I think I have posted before that just because a setting is represented to a particular degree of precision does not necessarily mean it is over optimized. Since almost all relational comparison operators are "greater than" or "less than", a precise value gives you the best chance of catching a similar occurrence in the future that over the past 20 years has been shown to be more profitable. If you are uncomfortable with the precision, you are of course free to fuzz them up as much as you want to, but in doing so, you run the risk of missing the close calls. Also, the settings are "leading edge triggered" which means they are set at the side of the range from which the value is normally approached (e.g. the trigger for a rising RSI indicating an overbought shorting position would be set as low as possible for the range that gives the highest result).
