That could be in play here. It is just as likely as him having beat some woman. If he did get involved in some altercation, it was probably because he is considering running for office, and wanted to see if he could appeal to republican misogynists like trump's faithful and reach across the aisle to the ignoranti. They seem to love all forms of abuse to women, hell, they vote for it, especially if it is documented on tape.
